A report from the UK's All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global Tuberculosis details the country's role in fighting TB globally, and outlines further actions that can be taken to control the epidemic of drug-resistant TB.

Newly appointed World Bank President, Jim Kim, blogs on his recent trip to South Africa and the work the Bank is doing to combat TB in mines.
Advocates from the TB Europe Coalition (TBEC) met with TB advocates in Chisinau and Balti, Moldova in mid-August. The visit was facilitated by the Centre for Health Policies and Studies (NGO Principal Recipient of the Global Fund for TB and HIV) and Speranta Terrei (a community-based organisation based in Balti working with TB patients). The main objectives of the TBEC visit were to inform local advocates about advocacy in the European Union, the Berlin Declaration and the M/XDR-TB Action Plan, to explore how TBEC might join forces with Moldovan NGOs.
